So after MIA-ing for a few days. I am back! So many events occurred during the last past few days and I had a really good experience working with the same crew and actors, at the same theatre and time, doing the same make-up work for 6 days straight. I felt the bond and I am glad that I had decided to lend a helping hand in making a production a success. Lucky us, we got to watch the rehearsals and learn at the same time so Claire didnt pick us from the "streets" and there is her motive there. I did learn a lot from an actor's behaviour, attitude and demands to his/her needs. After we're done w the actors' hair & make-up, the Queens of Hair and Make-up sneaked into the theatre on the second last night to watch the last act of the play since we missed that part for the last 4 days. It was an awesome production put up and I am proud to be part of that family who made it possible. "Importance of Being Ernest" by the Buds Theatre Co. was a success and I hope to work and be a part of more productions under it in the future! Claire Devine, Sahirrah, Rebecca Lee, Rosemary McGowan along w the crew and actors have been such great people to work w throughout the production. Many, many thanks to them! :) Oh and pictures taken will be up soon when I've gotten ALL of them from Rosie.
School have been okay for me. My scene for the repertoire show is coming into shape and I had quite an intensed session last Friday. We've finally finish going through that scene. I just need to practice a little on my Southern American accent as advised by Andrew since somehow, during that particular session, I accidentally and unconsciously fall into the accent. I dont know how I did it, but I did it and now I've got to shape it all up! Damnnnnn. Oh! For those who will be free, please come down to NAFA Campus 3 Studio Theatre on the 13th & 14th March at 8pm for my class' repertoire scene. It's FOC! :D
